One Mile, One Mission: Clean Surroundings, Clean Nation

As part of the ongoing Swachh Bharat Abhiyan — a nationwide campaign aimed at promoting cleanliness and hygiene — our school took a proud step forward to contribute to this mission of a cleaner India.

On a bright and enthusiastic morning, all members of Angikaar gathered on the school grounds, ready to roll up our sleeves for a cause that truly matters. Armed with gloves, garbage bags, and a strong sense of purpose, we set out to clean the area around our school.

The focus of our effort was to remove plastic waste from the surroundings. Plastic bottles, wrappers, and other non-biodegradable items had accumulated over time, polluting the environment and creating an unpleasant sight. As a team, we meticulously picked up every piece of plastic, ensuring no corner was left unattended.

The atmosphere was filled with energy and determination. It was not just about cleaning—it was about setting an example, about showing that change begins with us. Through this activity, we learned the value of teamwork, environmental responsibility, and the importance of being proactive citizens.

By the end of the day, the area around our school looked visibly cleaner and greener. The sense of satisfaction and pride on everyone’s faces was priceless. We not only made our surroundings cleaner but also took a step closer to the dream of a Swachh Bharat.
